The Glider Pilot Badge The Glider Pilot Badge is among the rarest of all the qualification badges of the Luftwaffe of the Third Reich. The information about this badge is scarce. The infrequent and often contradictory information in the available publications and the very low number of original examples does not make it very easy for the collector to distinguish between the contemporary originals and copies, respectively fakes.
